About Me
Hi! I’m Yana Gorbitskaya — the creator of HomyGlow, a beauty blog that grew out of my own love for style, color, and everything that makes us feel confident in our skin.
I’m from Ukraine — a country of strong women, beautiful traditions, and a deep appreciation for self-expression. I’ve always believed that beauty isn’t about rules, it’s about freedom. The freedom to experiment. The freedom to change. The freedom to be 100% yourself.
Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve loved playing with hairstyles, doing nails for my friends, and putting together outfits that told a little story. Not because I wanted to follow trends, but because it felt like a kind of creative language — a way to reflect who I was, without saying a word.
For a while, I thought it was just a hobby. I studied something completely different, worked regular jobs, and pushed beauty to the side. But that passion never really left. I’d still scroll Pinterest late at night, save looks that inspired me, and dream about sharing something of my own. Eventually, I stopped dreaming and just… started.
That’s how HomyGlow was born — not from a big strategy, but from a real love for curating beauty, sharing ideas, and helping others find inspiration.
This blog is my creative space. It’s where I share everything I love: elegant hairstyles, fresh haircuts, seasonal nails, outfit ideas, soft colors, bold moments, and practical beauty tips that are actually doable. I write the kind of content I myself search for — visual, simple, and full of life.
My goal is to make HomyGlow a space where beauty feels fun again. Not overwhelming. Not complicated. Just something that lifts your mood and makes you smile when you catch your reflection in the mirror.
Whether you’re planning your wedding look, trying something new for a night out, or just scrolling for a mood boost — I’m happy you’re here. This blog is for you.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
With love,
Yana
